About this planner

How the model works

How does sequential goal funding work?
Goals are met in chronological order. Your portfolio grows month-by-month with monthly SIP contributions; at each goal’s target year, that goal’s inflation-adjusted cost is deducted from the portfolio. Whatever remains keeps compounding into the next goal.
Why does my "needed then" figure look so high?
That’s inflation at work. A ₹10 L need in 10 years at 8 % inflation becomes ₹21.6 L in Year-10 rupees. Over 25 years at 8 %, costs roughly 7×. The planner shows both so you can see the silent erosion.
What if a goal falls short — is my plan dead?
Not at all. The planner tells you exactly how much more SIP is needed per month to fund every goal in full. From there you can stretch the goal year, revisit the amount, bring in a lump-sum top-up, or raise your return assumption through a more aggressive asset mix.
What if two goals fall in the same year?
Both costs are deducted in that year, in the order they were entered. The portfolio draws down for the full combined amount before continuing to compound.
Can I share this with my family?
Yes. The Download PDF Report button produces a multi-page branded document with your goals, inflation math, portfolio projection chart, and SIP recommendation — watermarked and ready to share.
